Life's Abundance Premium Cat Food FAQ
and Information:
General Nutrition advise for cats
The nutritional needs of a cat differ significantly from those of a dog
or, for that matter, most other animals.
Cats need considerably more protein than dogs because they are a true
carnivore.
Because of this fact, animal protein is a vital part of your cat's diet
and it supplies a number of essential amino acids.
Furthermore, cats need the right balance of fats, carbohydrates, minerals
and vitamins.
A wide array of specific foods is probably ideal for a cat to get the
required nutirion.
Some cats are known to occasionally look for grass and other greens,
probably for the purpose of augmenting their diet or to clean their
systems of hairballs.
Cats have been known to even eat garden variety plants out of sheer
boredom or just plain curiosity.
If a cat has a balanced diet of premium h cat food, a multivitamin may not
be needed.
These multivitamin supplements should only be administered through the
guidance of a veterinarian.
It is also advised to talk to a veternarian about which cat food is right
for your pet. Dr. Jane Bicks, one of the top holistic veternarians in the
country,
recommends Life's Abundance because of it's ideal balance of nutrition.
It has been suggested that older cats need multivitamins or other
supplements But you should ask your veterinarian for advice on how to best
care for your older cat.
Mineral oil is sometimes recommended to treat a cat's constipation, but
this treatment may do more harm than good in some cases.
